Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to your purchase of and access to Beyond the Food (the “Programme”) offered by The Eating Clinic Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”).
Please read these Terms carefully before purchasing the Programme. By purchasing the Programme, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Information About Us and How to Contact Us
The Programme is provided by The Eating Clinic Ltd.

If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.
2. Programme Outline
Beyond the Food is a seven-day evergreen online professional development programme for nutritional therapists and other health practitioners. It is designed to support practitioners in understanding and working with the psychological and behavioural dimensions of eating, within their scope of practice.
The Programme is delivered via Kajabi and includes:
- Seven video modules, unlocking one per day via drip delivery
- The BEYOND Clinical Manual, delivered in full on day one
- Seven daily emails
- Six micro-intervention guides (one per day from day one)
Access is provided immediately on purchase. Any references on sales pages or promotional materials to bonus resources or additional materials are included only where expressly stated at the time of purchase.
3. Grant of Licence
In consideration of your payment, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to access and use the Programme for your personal professional learning only, subject to these Terms.
This licence is personal to you and may not be shared, assigned, transferred, exchanged, or resold.
4. General Use of the Programme
We develop, distribute, and maintain the Programme. We will manage your access and may provide reasonable administrative support where necessary.
You must not, except where required by law:
- Copy, record, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, sell, licence, distribute, or otherwise exploit any part of the Programme
- Share your login details or allow any other person to access the Programme through your account
- Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works from any part of the Programme
- Use the Programme for commercial training delivery, group teaching, internal team training, or incorporation into your own materials without our prior written permission
5. Access to Materials
Access to the Programme will be provided for 12 months from the date of purchase, unless a different access period is stated at checkout.
Access begins immediately on purchase and is granted to the purchaser only.
We do not guarantee that the Programme or platform will be available uninterrupted at all times, although we will take reasonable steps to resolve technical issues within our control.
If your access period expires, access will end automatically unless we choose, at our discretion, to extend it.
6. Eligibility and Professional Responsibility
By enrolling, you confirm that:
- You are either a qualified or trainee healthcare, nutrition, or allied practitioner, or otherwise have a legitimate professional interest in the subject matter
- You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the material is appropriate to your training, professional scope, insurance, and jurisdiction
- You will apply any learning from the Programme within your own professional scope of practice and legal and regulatory obligations
7. Disclaimers
The Programme is educational in nature. It does not constitute clinical supervision, psychotherapy, medical advice, mental health treatment, legal advice, or individual case-specific professional guidance.
You remain responsible for:
- Working within your professional scope of practice
- Obtaining appropriate supervision, consultation, or referral support where needed
- Exercising your own clinical and professional judgement
- Complying with the standards of your regulator, insurer, and professional body
We do not guarantee any particular professional, clinical, financial, business, or other outcome from your participation in the Programme.
8. Pricing and Payment
The price of the Programme is as stated at the time of purchase. Payment is due in full at the time of purchase via Kajabi, Stripe, or another payment provider we use from time to time.
There is no payment plan option for this Programme unless expressly stated otherwise by us in writing.
We reserve the right to amend pricing for future sales. This will not affect a Programme already purchased.
9. Consumer Cancellation Rights and Digital Content
If you are a consumer, you may ordinarily have a legal right to cancel a distance contract within 14 days of purchase. However, because this Programme is digital content supplied immediately online, special cancellation rules apply.
By purchasing the Programme and receiving immediate access to it, you expressly request that we begin supplying the digital content during the 14-day cancellation period and you acknowledge that, once supply begins, you lose your legal right to cancel.
If you purchase the Programme but have not yet been given access to it, and you are still within the 14-day cancellation period, you may cancel by emailing hello@theeatingclinic.com.
Where the law requires us to provide a refund, we will do so. Otherwise, once access to the digital content has begun, payments are non-refundable except at our discretion.
10. Refunds
Except where required by law, or where we expressly state otherwise in writing, all sales are final once access to the Programme has been granted.
No refund, full or partial, will be given because:
- You changed your mind after receiving access
- You did not complete the Programme
- You did not use the materials
- The Programme was not suitable for your personal preferences, existing level of knowledge, or business model
- You were unable to participate because of your own time, work, technology, or scheduling constraints
This clause is subject to your statutory rights.
11. Technical Requirements
It is your responsibility to ensure that you have adequate hardware, software, and internet access to access the Programme.
We are not responsible for delays, interruptions, or inability to access the Programme caused by your device, software, internet connection, or third-party systems outside our control.
12. Our Right to Suspend or Terminate Access
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Programme immediately if:
- You breach these Terms
- You share, copy, reproduce, or distribute Programme materials without permission
- You misuse the Programme or platform
- Your conduct is, in our reasonable opinion, abusive, unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory, threatening, or likely to damage our business, intellectual property, or reputation
If access is terminated under this clause, you will no longer be entitled to access the Programme or any associated materials, and we are not obliged to issue a refund unless required by law.
13. Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Programme and all associated content, materials, and intellectual property are and remain the exclusive property of The Eating Clinic Ltd and/or its licensors.
This includes, without limitation:
- Videos, slides, and recordings
- The BEYOND framework and BEYOND Clinical Manual
- Case studies, written materials, and templates
- Micro-intervention guides and worksheets
- Course structure, teaching methods, and branding
- Downloads and daily email content
You may not reproduce, share, publish, distribute, teach from, upload, sell, or otherwise use any Programme content except for your own personal professional learning without our prior written permission.
Unauthorised use or distribution may result in immediate termination of access, legal action, and a claim for damages or other remedies.
14. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any rights you have under consumer law that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
Subject to the above, our total liability to you arising out of or in connection with the Programme shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for the Programme.
Subject to the above, we shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss; loss of profits, business, opportunity, contracts, goodwill, or anticipated savings; professional or clinical decisions made by you based on the Programme; loss arising from third-party platforms, processors, or hosting providers; or interruptions to access outside our reasonable control.
15. Privacy and Data Protection
We act as a data controller in relation to personal data processed for the purpose of providing the Programme to you.
We will process your personal data in accordance with applicable UK data protection law, including the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Further information is available in our Privacy Policy.
Where you opt in to receive marketing, we may use your contact details to send you updates, offers, and related communications. You may unsubscribe at any time.
16. Changes to the Programme
We may make minor changes to the Programme, platform, materials, or delivery format where necessary to reflect updates in good practice, law, technology, business operations, or educational improvements.
We will not make changes that materially deprive you of the core paid-for Programme without a valid reason.
17. Complaints
If you have a complaint regarding the Programme, please contact us at hello@theeatingclinic.com and we will do our best to resolve the matter promptly and fairly.
18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you may also have the right to bring proceedings in the part of the UK in which you live. If you are a business customer, the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
